became symptomatic again in 2017

so why wasn't something done in 2017? we are now toward the end of 2018 before they did that scan the night before surgery

Well, they did. For the last year and a half she has been undergoing chemo regularly. At first the tumors were shrinking, scans were good, and she was so excited, then the past few months the cancer just went freaking crazy!!! She knew something was wrong as she started having more and more pain and ascites, having to be drained quite often. That's why she sought out this surgery. I knew when they couldn't do the surgery she wouldn't have much time. Lost my dad the same way. I hate cancer. It has affected so many people I love....
