geoff has the run of the place again - a few iffy spots but those are under water and i doubt he'll venture there. for 25 years he has respected the creek which in the summer can get very shallow as a boundary line.
i'm dead beat ....................

Tibs, glad to hear y'all are safe. I'm sure you are beat and hope you can relax and rest tonight. Good to hear Geoff is safe!

Chilly here, but I was expecting it. Still had my evening coffee on deck with a jacket on. Still enjoyed it!

Good evening and goodnight Snails. Sleep well, sweet dreams and a better tomorrow for all :)

Sorry to hear you got slammed there Tibs !
This hurricane has been devastating. Homes a just GONE ! Only foundations left.
    I fear the mortality findings.
We have an office in Lynn Haven (basically Panama City). All employees are fine. Building appears to be undamaged (don't know if dry inside) tho no one can really get near it (Guard has stuff closed off) - the 3 story brick apartments across the street are gone. Power is out, no cell service - can't help customers.
FEMA does shine at times like these...you can call them and get the claims number for any insurance carrier.
That office is on a different management system than we are...but we were able to get into the phone system and get to messages people had left. Had 3 offices calling those people back. Most had already figured out to call the claims department for their carrier (as you should anyway, these days your agent can only assist you with starting a claim...then they contact you back and ask you everything all over again. They really want you to call them directly.). Some were calling to check on staff.

We had a storm march though here about a year ago I think. We didn't have any damage here but a stretch of road we often travel had a minimum of 22 huge uprooted pine trees in a short stretch of road. Lucky there were no houses right there.Quite a sight. They said it was a tornado.
