Even that poopy @SilverBear , who doesn't visit us no more....
Just me, PoopyBear, stopping by for a short visit. :)

Sending (((Tibs))) out... so hard, so sad. I know we will be going through
it some time. Sooner?... later?... can't say for sure. I'm taking Bella to
the vet this afternoon and having things done as if she is a normally-healthy
cat. Things we did NOT do due to her terminal diagnosis (which still stands).
Part 2 of the distemper shot, steroid shot to alleviate the itching due to her
extreme allergic reaction to even a single flea bite (think we have won the
Battle of The Occasional In-Home Flea) and a general pain assessment. She
is eating, drinking, pooping and ....... General cat-ness about her. That's
good.

Did the jury duty thing. There were 350 (!) people all corralled, then split
up into 6 trials. I did not make the first 21 chosen for questioning, but did
make group #2 (after a 2 hour 45 minute LUNCH break). They still needed
4 more for the actual jury. The judge read the THIRTEEN felony counts again
(heading the list: attempted murder) and that the guy was on the run for 3
years evading capture. Ummmm... OK. So when the judge asked us if we
could be "fair and impartial", I just had to say "no". (Let's recap: 13 felony
counts AND a fugitive for 3 years... hmmmm... ) I was dismissed, much to
my glee and eye-rolling.

8 years until being called again. I will be 70, and can opt-out in NY. So, SEE
YA, Jury Duty!

Oh, and by the way... he was found guilty. See? They did not need me,
anyway.

Clare has become quite the murderous murderess. She now brings frequent
"gifts" home and leaves them on the deck for us. I know she is just doing
what cats do, but she's showing off now. They're all coming from properties
on either side. For instance:

A few more things to say, but it's getting close to appointment time.

I'll be back!
