I've never used a rear-bag attachment on any lawn mower before,
but gave it a shot yesterday. It's rated at "25 Gallons". It took
4 or 5 passes (front-to-back in front yard) to fill it. Then stop,
empty, repeat. I could fit 4 of those into a 39-gallon bag (after
much compressing). Did 2 39-gallon bags. Only about 1/3 of the
front yard.

So, I'm not sure how much more efficient (if at all) doing it that
way is to manual raking. It would have been too much mulch to
just leave on the lawn, especially since my tree is still very full.

Have a few days rest coming up... snow predicted in varying
amounts through Wednesday next week. Ugh.

Oh... and that trial I could have been on... results (nutshell)...

"A Rochester man convicted of attempted murder in a violent
2015 home invasion robbery in Webster was sentenced to 30
years in state prison
Wednesday.

Travis Hill, 30, who was convicted of attempted second-degree
murder, two counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of
second-degree assault and a litany of other felonies
, was
sentenced by state Supreme Court Justice Alex R. Renzi.

He also received five years of postrelease supervision. Michael
Earsley, Hill’s co-defendant, pleaded guilty to attempted
first-degree burglary in 2017. He is scheduled to be sentenced
Nov. 27 by Justice Judith Sinclair. Hill and Earsley went to a
home on Lake Road in Webster at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 13, 2015,
and ambushed homeowner Thad Swift with loaded firearms
as he exited his vehicle,” prosecutors said."

Speaking of.

It's snowing here now.
The winds are forecast to pick up. Not only are we going to get about 1-2 inches of snow for our "first snow", but there could be blowing and drifting too.

Not a good omen for the season, eh?

I did manage to mulch up the leaves on the front yard for the 2nd time, yesterday. Had some belt trouble with the mower, but managed to pull it off.

So, 'tis the season...time to think about switching over to the plow and chains. Most of the leaves have fallen now.
