He wants to be at home, Kat, with Fran.

It depends on how bad it is...they know how to treat it. But if he needs it, they can feed him via IV at the hospital.
I understand that, Atty. We all would prefer to remain at home. I HATE hospitals, but, there are times when being in a hospital is better for ALL involved, where he can get the best care and feel better a lot sooner. Like Fran said, he needs to be in the hospital, so he CAN come home and be with Fran, with way less pain. It must be bad enough for Fran to say this. This poor man has SO much going on. I cannot imagine his inner fears......

for what ever reason most of us guys avoid doctors and hospitals like the plague, not sure if we are just stubborn (I can deal with this) or stupid.

    Good morning
Sheesh Fran - sending prayers for DH.

Gracie - your poor DIL !
Tibs - holymoly on the BIL !

Spent the week dealing with a management system change.
lol - people are griping worse than here when a change is made
But it was needed as the system we used was no longer supported by the company and all it would take is a certain type of windows update and we would be trashed.

Somethings I really love and somethings are not there that REALLY should be.
Sadly the missing stuff mostly affects a lot of what I do. Everything else is pretty much there but in a different place with a different look.
Seems the company is open to feedback tho...
Like - why the heck would search results for Smith not be alphabetized ????

7th office should be finalized by the end of the year. Busy busy !!

Good luck convincing the bureaucracy to give you something you no longer qualify for.

    Keep us posted... :p

    As requested!

Got into the system and made changes that put me right back to the coverage
I have in 2018 (and '17, and '16, and '15, and '14). Then actually CALLED to
    confirm. All set.

But, just chalk up yet another year where things got screwed up.

    Hey @AttyPops ...

My PC has frozen SOLID twice in less than 24 hours. CTRL-ALT-DEL will not even get
me to Task Manager. Probably a sign that this 6 year-old machine is more than likely
    on its way out, huh?

I was planning to get a new one after New Year anyway. Hope I can nurse this one
    for a couple more weeks.

    Just in case...
    ... did a Norton backup
    ... made a system image
    ... did a Windows backup
    all on external drives.
