    Tibs, the lack of hair probably has to do with the mites and fleas. I'm sure they'll also check for mange, but it doesn't look like that. With proper care (which I know you will give him) the hair should all grow back. Those warty things are pretty common and almost 99% benign. Some breeds are more prone to them than others. He is a real cutie and I am sending you HUGE hugs for taking that little sweetheart into a loving home. :wub:

    I'm just wondering what this poor pup is thinking. One day in a jail cell with a death sentence hanging over him, then he wakes up in Tib's paradise, surrounded by love, care, good food, and all kinds of strange creatures he's probably never seen before... Miracles do happen.

    frannie, check out that mattress yourself. i made them switch dh's twice so there are options. or have the hospice nurse look at it
