Tibs, the lack of hair probably has to do with the mites and fleas. I'm sure they'll also check for mange, but it doesn't look like that. With proper care (which I know you will give him) the hair should all grow back. Those warty things are pretty common and almost 99% benign. Some breeds are more prone to them than others. He is a real cutie and I am sending you HUGE hugs for taking that little sweetheart into a loving home.
