Back in the "old days", the experienced vapers would chat in various threads. A user (Martha) mentioned that some newbie questions didn't get responses...or very slow responses. So they were "snail threads". And she thought that we should look for them and respond and/or encourage people. So "Snails, response on threads" was born. There's 7 more historically, you can follow post #1 links.I still don’t lol!!! Someone????
Anyway, the forum grew and the "snail crew" were no longer dedicated to that task exclusively. It because a celebration group for a while too, celebrating ECF users becoming "veterans".
Now, we old farts (and some fresh farts) just hang around here. Friendly thread.
