We need better/ more emoticons lol! I’m serious. The South African forum has a lot to cover all the usual emotions. This forum nots so much. Even adding a sad face would be helpful.

Hi, Fidola. It's been discussed before in Site Help--we all agree that Informative and Useful are somewhat redundant, Creative is kind of lame, Optimistic is not clear, and we desperately need a Sympathy/Sad/Sorry icon. But EFC has been short-staffed lately, so I don't see anything being done anytime soon. ;)

And some years throw us massive curve balls. "But I have plans, things to do. Taking care of that problem will interfere."

"If you don't, you might die much sooner than expected."

Later on; "And here are some other things you can do to help you reach your goal of 85."

Good morning Mary and Tibs :)

Holy Windy, Batman!!!! All night long. Maybe got 3-4 hours interrupted sleep. The top cap of our skirting came down all along the front of our place, which left the skirting flapping and slamming against the house. Marsha tied it back with some McGyver method, which helped, but parts are still doing it. It's only 2 years old and I told the guys that the frost raises the ground in the front a lot, and they said not to worry, they would take care of that..... Will be on the phone later this morning.

Mom's helping make breakfast (soufflé, sausage patty, and 1/2 banana). I hate Alzheimer's, but sometimes it's just freaking hilarious too.

So I used a fry-pan for making the white sauce and mixing in the beaten egg whites, so I could use the same pan again to fry the sausage patty. Well, one of her tasks was to wash out the egg from the pan so we could fry the sausage. I went into the other room to check the recipe on the computer, and when I got back....

she was wiping out the pan with the banana. I almost lost it laughing, but I didn't! AG would have loved it, as I'm sure nanas make great scrapers.

Anyway, I showed her the wash-in-sink method. ;) And she did great. (Sufferers just get confused sometimes).
Threw out the banana (raw egg all over it, even if it was not peeled yet). Washed all our hands, and now we're waiting for it all to bake.

    Flyby.
