hi to the bear - just finished the tank 3 hours ago ;)
This tank is still VERY new and needs to establish the full biological filter (usually
in the actual filter, and substrate). The baccies have not yet found a home, so
the water went cloudy and the ammonia spiked. Just did a 25% water change.
Will probably need to do it again during the weekend.

The old tank had an undergravel filter and a power head that moved the water
around and made bubbles. This one has just seemed so very still and un-animated.
The air pump, tubing and air stone arrive tomorrow. The fishies like swimming
through the bubbles.

I still can do it, Tibs. Right click on a picture and choose Search Google for image in the drop box.
Firefox here.

Since @tiburonfirst mentioned that ^ new-to-me feature, I've been trying
it out. The "Search Google" option does not show up with EVERY image.
So, keep trying it Tibs. Hit or miss from what I've found.

i rarely have need for it now - used it most for the new veterans threads! sometimes i found a great pic but way too small; 'search by imagine' would usually deliver the same pic in all kinds of sizes and, usually, the original url. that would have come handy for the 'mystery creature' a day or two ago ;)

Ha. One handy feature in my old Google images was Search for other sizes of the image. Now it's gone. Only one size is available, and it's usually big. But since we don't have PreVets anymore, that hardly matters to me...

Afternoon, Snails!

One week now since the new lenses were ordered. "She" said it could
be 2 weeks, so, fine. I just want to get back there and get some more
info on "she".

You-all would NOT believe me if I gave you a description of her "fashion"
choices if I told you. From top of the head, to the tips of her toes.

She has a kinda-common first name, if spelled "normally". I did spend
a few moments internet-stalking ONLY to have proof of any description.
Came up empty.

I'll start at the toes: White sandals with yellow daisy appliques. In March.
In Rochester, NY. It only gets better as we travel upward.
