Oh, and even more... Just called BORLA to check on the status of the brand
new exhaust system ($0 for about $1300)... and it's going out tomorrow.

:)
UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH

Just had the car in for snows-off / all-seasons-on. I also had them check the exhaust because
the car has been sounding rougher than the "patented" usual Borla Mean.

Was told that a section of the system (flex pipe) is rusting away! Already! Less than one year!
6300 miles! Stainless steel!

So, now have to contact Borla about the warranty on THIS system which was a replacement last
April. They were very good about honoring their "Million Mile Warranty" last year... whole new
$1300 system sent right out. I may have to take the car back to get some pics. Calling them
shortly.

Million Mile Warranty - BORLA's Exhaust System Warranty

..........

Good AFTERNOON, all you peoples.

:-x

I get this in eMail:

"You have a new or unviewed test result in your Rochester Regional Health MyCare account. Please log in
to the MyCare website at your earliest convenience to review."

OK.

I log in and then see this:

"
Study Result - HOLTER MONITOR - 48 HOUR - Details
Narrative
Results delivery of this procedure are currently not available for viewing in MyCare due to system limitations.
Please contact your physician for results.
"

Then WHY even TELL me to log in to view the results if the results are not available due to THEIR "system
limitations"?!?!?!

What the freaking HELL???

See... this is the kind of thing I expect from the NY State Of Health ACA system on an annual basis. It's now
spilled on over to the medical systems.

There must be another word other than "INEPT" to describe this kind of crap.

I *WILL* be walking out of tomorrow's "24 HOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR" appointment WITH a hardcopy
of the Holter results. I will NOT leave WITHOUT it. What the hell?!?!?! See how THEY just ADD to the
problem???

:evil::-x:evil:

I mean, DAMN them!

I refuse to believe I am the FIRST person to EVER wear a Holter as a patient of
Rochester Regional Health. They KNOW the results cannot be displayed due to
their "system limitations". So why tell me to log in to view them? Why? Tell me.
I'll listen.

Unless... the results are just SO BAD they would rather I speak with a professional.
Am I on Death's Doorstep? Should I bring a "support person" with me next week
when the mysteries of Holter and tomorrow's BP monitor are revealed? Smelling salts?
(Ooops... I did notice am ampule taped to the wall during last week's visit. VERY
professional presentation, that.)

Maybe they need a programmer for their "MyCare website". @AttyPops ... would you
like contact info to offer up your services? I'm sure it''s something that could be done
remotely. If they fly you in for an interview, we could meet for lunch. Do you like Thai?
There's a GREAT Thai place right near their headquarters:

Traditional Thai & Lao Food

That's an automatic e-mail telling you that they posted something in your mailbox on the secured medical system.

Now, what that is, it doesn't know.
So you go look, and it ends up being a reminder to "talk to your doctor".

It might also cover their legal azz, so they can track you reading the message. (total guess).
AKA "You have been informed to call your doctor".

I am SEEING my doctor NEXT Wednesday.

No, see... they know the test. They know stuff cannot be viewed. So do NOT tell me
to go view it when it does not exist!

VERY simple IF-THEN-ELSE... right?

I suppose.

It's just not "that deep". If a message goes into your inbox, you get an email. The rest....that's up to you to read. It doesn't always have info. What's even more scary? When there was info, then it "goes away" later!!!!!! That gives you nightmares. Nightmares!

See how you are making excuses for the programming? You did that 5 or 6
years ago when the NY ACA website was not working properly. "Give them
time" and all that. And, 5 or 6 years down the road this past November, it's
STILL now working properly. You know, simply shoving me into Medicaid. I've
kept you all in the loop. Not ONE year has passed that they did not get it
right the first time.

I did some programming in the last few years of my corporate life and would
be MORE than willing to call this just plain STUPID and INEPT and Walmart-
quality programming.

Update... UGH... Borla wants pictures of the rust/rot. Taking the car back tomorrow
so they can get it up on the lift. 8AM. UGH... right before my appointment for the
BP monitor. Super-convenient!!!

Oh, and... call from somebody at DAD'S cardio place about setting him up with a monitor
for his new pacemaker. I hope (hope hope hope) it's just a matter of pairing him with
his EXISTING monitor... and NOT having to schlep HIM back to where he was just
YESTERDAY. It's NOT an easy thing to do. I seem to recall setting things up at his
apartment a number of years ago.

What's next? Boils?... Famine?... Pestilence?... Locusts?... Frogs?
