Car exhaust thing is UPstream from last year's system. Since it's a dual-exhaust,
it's 2x the cost of one (1) catalytic converter and associated piping and labor.
Tuesday bright and early next week. Exhaust stuff is not under the Lifetime
warranty.

Rotten new yesterday re: car stuff.

Now Thursday, bright and early (ugh!). And because this is NEW YORK, "we" here must have
CARB-Compliant catalytic converters... same as California. They can be anywhere between
2x and 4x the cost of "48 state" converters. The quote from Thursday almost doubled. So,
I looked around...

Typical info found:
"A three-way catalytic converter (typical in most gasoline cars since 1981) can cost $200-$2,500
or more, depending on the year, make and model of vehicle, and whether the part is OEM or
aftermarket. Installation takes about an hour on average, depending on the vehicle; total costs
for parts and labor can be $300-$3,000 or more. CarMD.com[2] names replacing a catalytic
converter as the third most common car repair related to a "check engine" warning light, and
estimates the average cost for parts and labor at $1,029."

That is just for the converter. I also meed manifold-to-converter pipes, and converter-to-
muffler(s) pipes. (I saw the rot, rust and decay... holes and cracks.) As mentioned up above,
I have TWO of them. Dual exhaust.

I love  my car and he loves me back. He'll get the TLC he now needs.
