Good morning Snails

My time management is in poor shape! Trying to get a handle on what I want to do VS what I need to do! It's all a bit blurry right now! Think it's time to just go to the intercoastal and watch the boats go by and DO nothing and just Be. ;)

Just got word that one of my dearest friend's son passed away suddenly overnight. He was only 35. We were neighbors for 10 years and friends for 45. I was there when he was born and had to help them spell his name. They wanted to name him Nicholas, but couldn't figure out how to spell it. Told them there were a few ways and they went with mine. He was like a nephew to me. I am at a loss. She drove up from Kentucky when I had my biopsy done for the lung cancer. Stayed 2 days and drove back home.:cry:

Thank you all. I am numb and shocked...just got off the phone with Nancy again. He drowned in his own fluids. Back in March he had pneumonia and sepsis and was given a 5% chance of survival. He sure beat the odds then, but his wife said he was never really the same, only he wouldn't let her tell anyone. His mom stayed with him until the coroner took him away. Well, the coroner was there, but said they didn't have to do an autopsy, as it was apparent by the condition of his body as to what happened. So, she actually stayed with him until the funeral home came to get him. His wife was in the other room. She said she birthed him and she was gonna be with him when they took him out. That had to be horrible the way she described it. He will be cremated tomorrow and a service next week. She doesn't want me to make the trip, but promised she would come up in a month or so. But, I loved him, too.....
    Goodnight.....
