The point isn't that "USA juice is perfect".

The point is that I trust most USA vendors much more. Further, that's true for pharma too. There's a lot of contamination in drugs right now due to lack of quality control in China, and also concerns about how we should at least be producing some medications in the USA if for no other reasons than national security.

But yes, some green-juice is apparently problematic. Mostly from street "vendors" though.

why? first e-juice came out of china without any problems. then we had the domestic mom and pop operations out of a kitchen sink and we were lucky!
while street vendors are being blamed now some in the industry are not so sure: When Kind Leaf tracked down the companies that sold non-marijuana terpenes to makers of vape pens, they noticed that some of them also make and sell the so-called cutting agents, or thickeners, which have come under scrutiny.

''Drew Jones of Mr. Extractor told Leafly that he believes 60 to 70 percent of the cannabis vape carts in the country contain vitamin E acetate. He said that the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) knew about and allowed him to use the diluent. The agency denies that, telling Leafly that Jones is not a license-holder in the state and that vitamin E acetate was not knowingly allowed into cannabis products. But the substance isn’t banned for use in oil vapes in Oregon—or anywhere else on the west coast.''

None of that has anything to do with my point. I wasn't even talking about cannabis.

Look up blood-pressure drug recalls. Or something.

I didn't even make much of a statement other than to say:
"I don't mind made-in-USA" [paraphrased]. I mean, it helps the domestic economy. And we've had problems with contaminated pharma lately.

that's not without danger and you can't compare the 'juice' debacle with pharma. the juice debacle was strictly home-made and might not be black market only. why else would someone stick his neck out and claim permission to add was obtained from oregon officials.
yes, pharma was a problem and pills were recalled but didn't they find something in zantac that was not supposed to be in there? are they not made domestically?

This is so scary. I always had my doubts about those pot vapes. I even asked a friend who had one if she knew what kind of diluent they were using in those (legally obtained in a CA dispensary) pods. She said she had no idea and didn't care because they were "licensed" and thus perfectly safe.
