When we used to camping I bought at cheap pot from Wal-Mart for the camper. I also had one for back-up at home. I ending up tossing both out but they never quit on me. I just don't have room for them now.
We ended up just doing the Keurig stuff for convenience, but that's not really for high-volume coffee....Yea, it's Monday and I need a new coffee pot!

O, I so remember those on our camping trips......made the most delicious coffee....and, the smell in the morning sitting by the fire was just fantastic. We had tents way back then.
Yea, Keurig is good, but don't think it will suit our needs.

You mean drip coffee maker? What size do you want? I have a Zojirushi coffee maker (5 cups) and I love it because it actually makes hot coffee--as opposed to most drip coffee makers that make lukewarm coffee....
If you need a large one, I agree with Frannie--Cuisinart is the only American brand that brews at correct (or close to) temperature.
