Getting bloodwork done tomorrow, should
have results on Wednesday.
HA!
HA!!
Go out to the car to head over for bloodwork and the car is dead. I mean dead dead dead.
Would not even unlock. Both fobs. Had to use a physical key to get in. Nothing.
Waited on AAA for a bit. They sent a truck to "NORTH" (My Road Name). THEN to "SOUTH"
(My Road Name). Ummmm... no... I am on plain old (My Road Name) about 7 miles away.
Luckily, it started with a jump. But, the battery is 8 years old, so it was suggested to replace
it. I asked, "So if the battery goes, there is no pre-warning like difficult starts or some kind of
hint?" Nope... it simply dies on the spot. Hmmmm... sounds strange to me, but OK. Not
even UNLOCK the doors??? Or trunk??? Pretty drastic.
Now waiting on the guy to get a new battery and replace. Maybe 30 minutes. It's not a cheapo,
either and specific to the car. A "Bosch". $200+ w/ tax.
THEN I will run the car on an expressway for a bit... THEN get bloodwork.
