Ugh... in the light of day, I see the bird feeder pole and both feeders on the
ground. The squirrels are having a feast. I'm sure the feeders did not survive
the fall... and they are NOT cheap feeders. (I usually take them down if high
winds are forecast, but totally forgot about it yesterday.) Gah. :(

One feeder survived intact.

The other has one broken perch and the "hood" is missing a chunk.

I have spare perches. No problem.

$56 on Amazon for a whole new one. They have come down since the last time I
looked.

    The piece missing is actually 3 or 4 pieces, plus a few splinters.

    It's that really brittle plastic. Plus it's been out 365 days a year for well over 10 years.
    Below zero temps... blazing sun. I think it hit the landscaping rocks when it landed.
    The other one fell on saturated lawn.
