Hang in there Fran. Good morning.

Yeah, we have wind and rain changing to snow. But not really a "freezing rain" forecast. And I have to travel today. But the GF is driving in her new-ish car, so assuming I can survive her driving, we'll live through the weather...:D

I do but dd has tickets for a Recycled Percussion show in Manchester at 7 tonight (don’t ask). She bought all 3 kids tickets for Christmas.

Since you live in a snow zone I assume gf can drive in it?

    can drive
Sure, pretty much as well as she can drive in the summer...however well that is! ;)

She's usually OK when going forward. Backing up seems to be challenging, but her car has a backup camera thingy that even highlights a path with AI. Still, last snow (was little, so I didn't plow) she made new tracks across the driveway and the neighbor's yard, up the ditch, to the road.

Then there's the time going forward where she lost it in the snow/ice almost made an instant drive-thru in a local restaurant, but missed the building....luckily. I wasn't there, but heard about it.

She used to have an affinity for sports-car-like things. But now it's all about bigger (and snow friendly) SUV's. I think that helps!

Any chance of them postponing the performance? It's not worth the risk, IMO
Folks come all over to see them for some reason. The show is in one of out few bigger cities so probably not much chance of canceling
