Saying 3 hours here.
ACCORDING to the FORECAST... up to 6" before the temp goes above freezing,
then stuff turns to rain (38 degrees). THEN the temp drops again to below freezing
so everything can turn into ice. Warned Dad that tomorrow's visit may be off.

Put it on eBay.....
There are online places which will buy gift cards (at a fraction of their value,
of course). We have cards for Ruby Tuesday... which is no longer in the local
market. So, what would you do with them, anyway? There's only 1 Chili's left.
They're NOT convenient any more... and we have cards.

hey, bear! do those floaters go away on their own? :?:
SOME can be re-absorbed naturally per what I have read.

I still have the one which caused concern last year. But I don't notice it
so much, probably due to it being there all the time. Get accustomed to
    it.

They ARE able to be removed, if you want a hole poked in your eyeball
and then have a suction hose pushed through it. I think the surgeon also
removes some of the vitreous and replaces it with synthetic. You'd have
    to read up.

As long as your retina is not showing anything alarming... get used to it.

Oh, and - most important - any reduction in your peripheral vision?

That's what my upcoming "vision field" test will check. EVEN THOUGH I said
that my peripheral vision is fine, Fine, FINE. Suck up the bucks. Pay Pay PAY!!!

Only to go back 5 days later and be told all is fine.

Oh... and it means needing dilation TWICE. I hate it.

Dilation is the ONLY reason I put off eye doc visits. How barbaric and ancient.
Furthermore, that they don't have a drop to counteract/reverse the effect is
    also simply amazing.

no other signs but a big fat fly in my field of vision :?: took a nap and seems to be gone right now. let's see if it lasts ;)
Now that you revived my interest in floaters... most of what I read says
that floaters themselves are not really a medical concern unless they are
    paired with other symptoms.

    But still very annoying.
