Two weeks ago was the chili. Today will be meatloaves... one for home, one for Dad.

Seven POUNDS of meats.

I'll be sure to weigh the entire mass after everything else is added. I have to, anyway,
so I know how to split it up.

Off to la cucina...

Dad gets 3 pounds. In oven now, 1 hour so far, another hour to go before testing temp.

Not quite the "chef" as in the past.

Interesting that I did MUCH more complicated dishes when I worked 9 or more hours a day.

Now, I simply embellish "everyday" type things. ie: chili, meatloaf

Any recipe with more than 6 or 7 ingredients isn't welcome.

BP can play a role.

i don't think my blood pressure went up - usually, it comes in at 118/77 at the dr's office without fail. i had a bp monitor here but don't know where i put it unless it went along with dh; then it's gone
