My post (re: Oreo) in the nextdoor dot com group has done zero.

But, the one on FB (in the neighborhood group) had a flurry of activity.
Replies, shares and even a few new "friends". I was/am VERY surprised.

One lady messaged me, but it's kind of a word soup and I wrote back asking
for clarification. If I am reading it correctly, it will solve a few unanswered
questions we've had for 5 years (Oreo) and 4 years (Sheba). I'll wait to say
more until I hear back.

Well, I now know where Oreo and Sheba came from. A little less than 1/2
mile away. I also know they had other names while at that house (Spots and
Wild Mom, respectively). The big surprise is that Sheba is Oreo's mother! :)
That would absolutely explain the bond they display. Sheba was TNRd
which confirms the tipped ear and won't be spouting out kittens. She's
about 7 years old. Oreo was born in 2015, so he was not much more than
a kitten when he showed up here Winter '15-'16. NOT neutered.

I was told Oreo makes occasional visits back there and they will be watching.
And I now have a clue to the path he may take.

The mom/son thing is great to know.

fingers and toes crossed this info will help in tracking oreo. even though i'm sure there's lots of territory he could be exploring or hiding in in that half mile stretch :(

Unfortunately, today is not the day I would want to go out walking and
calling for him. The snow is just not stopping and I'm sure the upper
end of the forecast has been passed by this point. It's kind of miserable
    out there.

I can’t post in the SNAILS? Seems odd.

    Nowhere was that said.
All are most welcome to post here in a sociable/friendly capacity - trolling/pot stirring/dragging in Outside Drama... ummm...nope.

I don’t think I did that, but okay. Also seems like it should work the other way too, but whatever.

Ok, so I won't go to the Outside to tell you Hello, good to see you - hope you had a great day.

Kind of disingenuous don’t you think, given how more than one person from this thread has ventured into the OUTSIDE with the specific intent of causing chaos and insulting people? That’s what I meant.
