Good morning y’all:)

Got to try and get some groceries, we don’t have near enough food if they shut everything down. Stopped buying ahead when I quit work.
I was making grocery lists today too. Will have to go out probably tomorrow, due to pharmacy run. So may as well stop in a store. I'm pretty set, but I'm thinking about stuff like:

Cans of condensed milk or powdered milk, and egg beaters (last longer, can freeze, or make your own).
Beans!
Dry goods like Rice (have one 2 lb bag already, would like more).

And of course, modest amounts of TP or sanitizers. Or bleach.
Dish[washer] soap, shampoo, toothpaste, bar soap, laundry soap, etc.

The various crap that flavors water can go a long way...just lemon-aid mix, not the expensive stuff, or even koolaid.

Briskets a-boilin'. 2 hours to go for the smaller of the two.

Need to start prepping the veggies.

Dad still mentioned going for a haircut tomorrow. I "suppose" that's safe
enough, but hope he changes his mind The bad thing about THAT is he
may decide to go on his own.

Local news (yesterday, today) have oddly avoided any reports on the status
of the grocery chains. Crowds, stock. No idea what to expect for when I
do Dad's shopping tomorrow.

So, @AttyPops ... if you were told your portfolio is "down less than half the market",
would you be happy? I have not researched how folks-in-general are doing, so no clue
    if it's good or bad.
save yourself the palpitations and don't look ;) the market overall is down one-third - it's ugly for sure. i learned one lesson in 2001 and 2008 - ignorance is bliss!

I specifically told Mr. Finances I wanted NO dollar amounts in his reply. I'm not
looking. (I sent a note asking, frankly, how he was earning his commish during
    all this.)

But he did say "less than half the market". Knowing it's close enough to 30%
as a ballpark, I can do the numbers, mentally. I still don't know if that is good
    or bad compared to others.

I *will* look on April 1st. (Appropriate, huh?) I nail down the quarters, religiously.

TY for your reply, Tibs! <3
