$1.79 gas at Costco (around here). Last time it was that low was March 2016 @ $1.72.

    Before that, 2008.

    I keep track. :)
1.78 here. But I had 35 cents off in store coupons, so got it for 1.43! Left one coupon at home, drat.

    -------------------

So mom was climbing the walls. I know better than to watch the news (did that yesterday, mistake). Trying to get her to understand we have to stay in, and we can't go out to eat and don't need to go to the doctor unless we're sick.

Been a struggle. This morning was bad.

So anyway, went out. Didn't want to. But she needed to get out, so I took her for a drive. We ordered a pizza, and got the gas, and then as long as I was at the gas station for the store, I went to the store. If we die, we die. I practiced safe procedures and stuff. The groceries are going to sit in the bags for 3 days (nothing too perishable the green pepper will keep OK, hope the lettuce does, may have to think about that one).

Bread! One manufacturer delivered bread. And it was BOGO, so got two loafs.

I'm trying to isolate, I really am. Groan.

    Flyby. ~~~~~ all.

being careful is a smart thing especially with your mom in mind, atty, but you need to keep your perspective or you'll go crazy! get your groceries out of the car and store them in the proper place. after all, you didn't leave your clothes in the car also ;)
    (((hugs)))

Not the same thing, 50,000 people didn't paw my clothes :(

BUT...I did put the lettuce in the fridge. ;) And the groceries were in the house, just not mixed in with the other stuff on the shelves yet.

And the pizza? That was ordered uncut and reheated.

None of these things do any harm, and could do some good. And they give me peace of mind. I'd rather err on the caution side. To others, it's too much, to me it's added effort that's in the right direction.

If it were just me, I probably wouldn't worry so much.
