over 1k now with 25 deaths - still just 1 case in our county but hardly any testing going on so i'll take that with a grain of salt especially since our 1 case turned out to be an er dr at the local hospital!

stoney feels well-prepared even with broadway closed down. he says theater workers learn early on to have a safety cushion because shows can close down overnight without much warning even in pre-covid 19 days

MI has 5486 confirmed cases, and 132 deaths. Mostly over by Detroit, but there's smaller numbers everywhere.

My county has a relatively high number due to population density and also major hospitals for this side of the state. :/

But we have major hospitals. So that's good.

My county is at 72 cases.
But I take ALL numbers with salt just like Tibby, since they're rationing testing across the country. They're only good for watching trends in a given area, not much good for actual totals or even for comparing different states/areas.

Good Almost-Noon-Eastern to all!

Just made the appointment for snow-tires-off / all-season (liars)- off for Thursday.

Employees-only in the shop, so I'll just loiter outside. May even bring a folding chair.

Called ear-lowering guy to find out if he's sneaking in-home services. Nope!

Hubs is supposed to be coming home to start at-home toiling today. He went in to
pick up necessary tools of the trade. No sign of him yet. Maybe he'll just stay there
and start here tomorrow. Says there's still a decent number of onsite workers, but
the company wants all that are able to work from home do it.
