"It's A Friday" greetings to all!!!

My Dad is conveying conniptions to me over the phone. He is CONVINCED
that "stay at home" actually means "stay IN home" with regard to doing
outdoor work. Sigh. No raking. No gutter cleaning. No putting down
grass seed. Not even cleaning the car's interior window surfaces because
"it's outdoors". Ugh.

So, I will not even mention what I'm doing anymore... for a while.

So just to be clear, he's chewing YOU out for doing those things. It's not that he won't step outdoors...(or maybe he won't, but he's not doing those things)

I've been waiting for it to warm up. And I also have to deal with Mom who is pretty out of it, so it's hard for me to do much more than go to the mailbox right now, lest she falls or lights the house on fire with the stove. And it has to be warmer for her to sit outside with me.

Yes. I'm NOT supposed to be outside doing yardwork. That's how HE
understands the news. BUT!!!... it will be just fine for me to go over
there on Sunday and do his groceries... BECAUSE that's what the news
says. You know: "It's OK to to GO OUT and help those who need food
and stuff". Yardwork is NOT "essential". It's an unneeded luxury.

Not much foot traffic where we live so it looks the same ... except there’s no children walking home from school in the afternoons.
