Oh. Sorry.

"Here" is Michigan. The dams that broke are on the other side of the state from me.
My road was closed for one section (that area always floods, but no houses flood there). There's general flooding by the rivers. As usual. I'm near Grand Rapids, so it's "higher ground" mostly.

Areas around Muskegon and Holland are flooding too. IDK the whole list.

But yeah, flood planes suck, and global climate change is increasing lake levels, and increasing storms. So it's going to be a wild ride for generations. Erosion is a big thing too by the lakes.

Good late morning, Fran, Tibs, MM, Dale & Atty!

DH and I got busy outside this morning, and it didn't take long before we were both complaining about our backs......that's what sitting around for weeks on end does to the body.....at least ours......when we're more active, backs don't bother us so much.....looking forward to the park tomorrow for Qigong.

Atty, those dams breaking has got to be frightening to those who are affected.....if it's not hurricanes, then, tornadoes, floods, drought, and then the big one we're all experiencing now. It's like a big bad science fiction move.....only, it's real!
