19 year old tried to invite violence to our biggest city of Manchester from his nasty posts on fb. Guess what? The cops check fb all the time and the kid has been arrested. He lives up north, no where near Manchester.

Yeah, there's a bunch of propaganda and false-flag stuff going on too....on social media...viewed from everywhere.

    Just for example.
White nationalist group posing as antifa called for violence on Twitter

I know this is a bit OT but...well...we're all in this thing if you're in the USA.

At this point I don't believe much of what I see until I know the context of it all, and I double check everything with a healthy dose of skepticism.

    About what?
    from the trailer:
A powerful and thoughtprovoking true story, “Just Mercy” follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson (Jordan) and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned or who were not afforded proper representation, with the support of local advocate Eva Ansley (Larson). One of his first, and most incendiary, cases is that of Walter McMillian (Foxx), who, in 1987, was sentenced to die for the notorious murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite a preponderance of evidence proving his innocence and the fact that the only testimony against him came from a criminal with a motive to lie. In the years that follow, Bryan becomes embroiled in a labyrinth of legal and political maneuverings and overt and unabashed racism as he fights for Walter, and others like him, with the odds—and the system—stacked against them.

not a feel-good subject but based on an actual case :(

Sounds good to me. I don’t watch much feel-good subject stuff.

Good evening Tibs and Fran :)
I used to read true crime books but none lately.

What’s for supper granpaw? Baked chicken quarters, yams in cinnamon sauce and pinto beans with cornbread. Pinto beans and cornbread are something I wouldn’t touch as a kid  Pretty good now ;)
