Your heating go out Tibby? Surpisingly we are still at 41 degrees here. It's getting into the mid twenties here lately at night/early morning. I can't like it!

So my neighbor that lost her husband this past summer needs a new mailbox installed.
She wanted to know how much money to get out of the bank. I told her to go onto the hardware store's website and look up the prices for what she wants, and told her she'd need:
A 4x4 mailbox post for 25 bucks-ish IIRC,
A mailbox if she wants a new one
A base for it to install it on the post (plastic square thing to screw into from the sides of the box
Number stickers for the box
A small bag of Quikrete to cement the post in.

She called back and said "It's all set!, just go and pick it up". I said "What? What did you order?"
She said she and some other gal at the store helping her put the order in over the phone and it's all set.
I asked "OK, how much did it all cost?"
She says "$35.00, black Friday Sale".

I'm thinking it's going to be one of those stick-in-the-ground poles, and it's not going to survive the Winter. But we'll see what she got. That mailbox post alone was 25 bucks for the simple one when I checked the other day. You can spend hundreds on those damn things.

So my afternoon will be busy. Good thing it's fairly warm today (40's).
