It's 5 days after Christmas, and one day before New Year's Eve, so...
I barely pay attention, but it's nice that someone notices. GF is nice to separate out some gifts so I have something on the B-day, and family always was cool about it, but overall it just all mixes in anyway.

FWIW, you're not alone. DH's BD is January 4th, when everybody is exhausted from celebrating and broke.
Poor DH, poor Atty. 
Didn't think 2020 was any worse than 1968. Fact is I think 2020 was a lot better.

Vaccine is in the pipe, a new POTUS is on the way, and 2021 is looking to be an improvement.
The GF just couldn't stand it, and called me at a few minutes before midnight (woke me up) to count down the year and watch (she on her TV) the ball drop. We wished each other Happy New Year and I went back to sleep. I'm such a drag, I guess, but if it's not in person and there's no bubbly...meh.
