It's actually been more popular in the mid-term.

But the very first post, by Martha, probably didn't get enough likes. ECF was newer ~10 years ago. Then it grew, and now...IDK.

Good things start from small beginnings.

Now, it's no longer a "snails-thread-help" it's more of a social thread.

It was ORIGINALLY a thread about no one responding to a thread an OP starts. JerrRM started the SNAIL thread with me. It was never a "snails-help-thread" in the beginning. It was an hysterical story we created and it grew and grew.....then it died off. Deej even wrote a story about us.

It was NOT a "slow threads needing help" thread back then, Atty. That's what I'm trying to say. It was an actual thread about SNAILS and the chaos that followed. Don't know it if EVER became a "snails-thread help". We made the WHOLE thread about snails with many people and mods involved. I'm not fighting with you, was just saying it was NOT a snails-help-thread back in 2010. It was a crazy, fun laugh out loud thread about snails, fires, mods, etc...

I know, Atty, then you added that it became something it didn't. It became the best thread on the forum. When you have most of the mods laughing and enjoying the stories and craziness, it's NOT a "snails help thread"....All you have to say is "cool" glad y'all had a good time for so long. I didn't need corrected, because I was not wrong. You were, but it's REALLY no big deal. Just wanted to set the record straight. Ask @classwife about the craziness and fun. That's all.

Are you talking about the old Snails' Tales with Jerry? Oh, we had SO much fun. Then Deej wrote the story and he was a wonderful writer. Told me he was going to try to finish it. But he didn't make it. 2 good guys gone....RIP
But my memories will keep me smiling because of them. Forever grateful.

How does it make you feel if you post a thread and nobody answers or responds to it. Even in another thread you make a comment or ask a questions and nobody acknowleges it.

I think everybody needs to know that someone is listensing especially for new members. So no matter how insignificant the thread or post may be I think it is a good idea to respond to it. This will make people feel like they are a part of the forum.
