I find it curious that people frequently say they're anxious for something or other, when what they really mean is that they're eager for whatever. The words anxious and eager are antonyms. And yet, for gawd knows why, they're used interchangeably, as synonymous.

I guess I am taking this thread as a 'random thoughts' thread. Kick me out.

    No you can't
    morning, mm! ;)

? out of 1.8 million vaccinated - rather impressive, don't you think

NO! For the next 25 years we are all are participating in the trails trials.

Well I am a little bit older than you.
Despite Eddy's warnings, an estimated 120,000 children that year were injected with the Cutter vaccine, according to Paul A. Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Roughly 40,000 got “abortive” polio, with fever, sore throat, headache, vomiting and muscle pain.

I'm 67. I can remember getting my polio vaccination via sugar cube. I am astounded by the moronic resistance to this covid vaccination.
Personally I think everyone over 60 needs to get it while I highly suggest the younger folks be a little cautious and do your research first.

Let see we got the pharma people to come up with a vaccine in record breaking time. Yet they are not legally held responsible and can not be sued for damages from neglect or anything else. First year and Pfizer had a recall.

    Blind faith!

I followed and skimmed through the article you linked. It's not blind faith, it is trust in what gives hope. And, the results are overwhelmingly positive.

If you're a conspiracy theorist, I have no hope for you. You are the problem.

Breakthrough rate meaning the ability for those vaccinated to transmit the virus? I don't care. And the fact is not established.
no, it refers to those who do not respond to the vaccine. always a few in the crowd ;)

I've taken both my vaccine shots.

Who are you trusting big pharma or the government because neither seems to be doing a good job in my opinion.
