There's a partial solar eclipse on the 10th. Some of you at the northern latitudes will see it at sunrise. See pic and article here:
First solar eclipse of 2021 will show off a 'ring of fire' in the sky
You won't see a ring, but you'll see a crescent if the horizon isn't occluded. Max eclipse for me is before sunrise so I'll miss it. But you in the NE will get a chance.
I still have my solar-eclipse viewing glasses from last time. But if you don't, be careful to not hurt your eyes.

House only got down to 70 last night. It's 55 this morning, high around low 80's. Not bad.
By Sunday it will be in the 90's for a bit.
Corporatist Electric company is maximizing profits under the guise of "not building more power plants" by upping weekday rates 50% from 2 to 7 pm to discourage use. Oy. "Peek hours" crap. Although there's a truth to it, it's all mostly profit. They claim the average customer will only see a few dollars per month increase. Heh. Screw em. Since Mom died I can play more games with that stuff because it's just me. Winters are the worst anyway cost/use wise. I grew up without AC, I know the deal. And when it gets too bad, turn on the AC.
