Dd's virtual job is not so virtual anymore. She has to go in to work 3 days a week. The office is right here in town so that's good for her. Xander has started summer camp and I have solitude.
lol, that's a lot of expense to set up that home office for just 2 days a week or did the company pay for it, frannie? and pretty sure your dd was counting on working from home :?:

They just lifted CV-19 restrictions here in MI for all but healthcare settings. So I suspect that we'll be seeing more "go into work" type stuff for everyone. "They" have been predicting the end of traditional office work, but IDK that I believe that. It IS true however, that many jobs if they can be remote, are more flexible for both employees and employers. Employers can draw on a national skill pool, and so can seekers.

    The office already exists. Her expense was buying a desk big enough for the equipment. I think she was pretty much thinking she would be working from home but she doesn't seem to mind going in.
