really depressing - i've never seen so many leaves down this time of year didn't change colors much, just turned a yellowish-brown and off they came.

It’s the same here Tibs, brown dried up leaves have been falling for over a month

i might have to cross walmart off my list though - no canned cat food on the shelves whatsoever again

That’s too bad. The one here has a decent grocery section. Better than the local Walmart. Other bigger WalMart farther away have a regular grocery store in them.

i buy very few groceries in walmart and mostly make a weekly stop for cat food, water, cleaning supplies etc. i do like their off-the-bone ham in the deli though for sandwiches and that's what made me look at some of the ready-made meals they offer

Our Walmart has no deli or ready made meals but the grocery we shop at has several of the meals. I’ve been tempted to try one.

Death in the family.....a tough one....don't know when or if I'll be back, but it will only be periodically, at least for awhile, maybe forever. Not that Tibs will miss me, but I'll miss you guys....
