    No you can't
Lets see. It was in the fifties a few days ago. Its now in the 30's or 20's and it is snowing. The boiler broke Friday night no heat and I am still attempting to get in touch with the landlord who hasn't answered the phone. Yet go figure I still see myself as being Blessed and it warms me all over. :)

    Good morning snails.

Yes, it was a little late last night, but I feel great. And I'm headed up to the sports bar around 5pm to eat, drink, and watch the super bowl.--not necessarily in that order.:D

it snowing pretty hard but the temps are above freezing so nothing is sticking. let's hope it stays that way. I'm not driving, regardless. It's Uber today.

Here in NYC we never sleep - lots he or she could/can do. So I presume you are now amazed - right. ;)
Maybe I was a little to ruff with you... Let me hide the rest of my post from prying eye's.
Though that wasn't my point. The landlord are in business I see them as providing a service to the public. Sorry to say landlords etc can not and should not be allowed to rollup the sidewalks at any given time or just go on vacation without a backup plan in place. When you become a property owner or renter certain responsibilities taken on. The alternative in a emergence is call 911 and let the powers to be charge the landlord for services the city's provides.

So do you honestly believe these people without heat or hot water have no human right to service they paid for? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=nyc+no+heat+line.

I knew this was going to be a preaching day...

In the Winter climates, we have weekend heat-repair services. You just have to pay more....or have a 24/7 service contract.
