Just opened my ConEd bill - not happy at all. when I do the figures - I was paying 28 cents per kilowatt - last month - Now its 43 1/2 cents per kilowatt increase from 28 cents - including tax and everything final cost to the consumer.

If consumer uses 500 kilowatts per month they were paying $140 now its around $217

ConEd Warns Of Rising Prices, Urges Energy Conservation

Yep 24% increase and they said in a little flier enclose with bill they are going to ask for an increase.
