Eliminating 8 22"D wrought-iron hanging planters and going down
to 16".
Too heavy at my age
Too much effort (add potting soil, remove and store potting soil)
Finding space during off-season
Decided plants look "lost" in 22" pot
Heavy-duty industrial strength shepherd hooks are also getting old
Blah blah blah yack yack yack 'cuz I want to... it's time
They'll appear puny for a while until everything else grows out and
camouflages the change.
I hope to find home(s) for the big'uns rather than just put at curb.
They would be 12 years old this season... got my use out of them.

The office called yesterday and told me everyone is now able to
"waltz right in"... but not in those exact words. It means the "wait
in car" policy was lifted.
And... and... I could get in for my long overdue cleaning and exam
on the 14th AND at a time congruent with my profile.
Imagine.
So, I jumped on it just in case things tourner à la merde (Tibs) at
some point soon.
Here's my nightmare for tonight: The hygienist will measure the
upper pockets and the probe will poke up through the nose. When
she measures the bottom, the probe will pierce the jaw. Just to
show ME who is boss. Not too paranoid.

Hi snails. Home from the store.
Bought ham and sides for Easter dinner, and a small real Polish Kielbasa roll/ring for Sunday breakfast (don't ask, it's kind of a tradition with scrambled eggs and toast, although I prefer the Italian, they didn't have any).
The world has changed a lot. The Easter candy pickings were pretty slim. In the "good 'ole days" they used to have a wall dedicated to Easter stuff for the kiddies AND adults. Sigh, but I'm grateful for what was there, to be sure.
Ham was 85 cents per pound for a spiral sliced foil-covered ham...you know the type. Got one for $9.xx, a good deal! Combined with mashed potatoes and rolls and veggies. Will be a good dinner, probably on Saturday. GF and I are going out on Sunday, we have reservations.
