Here's my nightmare for tonight: The hygienist will measure the
upper pockets and the probe will poke up through the nose. When
she measures the bottom, the probe will pierce the jaw. Just to
show ME who is boss. Not too paranoid.

Ham was 85 cents per pound for a spiral sliced foil-covered ham...you know the type. Got one for $9.xx, a good deal! Combined with mashed potatoes and rolls and veggies. Will be a good dinner, probably on Saturday. GF and I are going out on Sunday, we have reservations.

you didn't have to snap at me. And getting back in bed is a way of life for you. It was more of a rhetorical question to show my concern for your well-being. You know how fragile I am and answers like that can have a negative impact on the pepper's well-being.

Hi snails. Home from the store.
Bought ham and sides for Easter dinner, and a small real Polish Kielbasa roll/ring for Sunday breakfast (don't ask, it's kind of a tradition with scrambled eggs and toast, although I prefer the Italian, they didn't have any).

The world has changed a lot. The Easter candy pickings were pretty slim. In the "good 'ole days" they used to have a wall dedicated to Easter stuff for the kiddies AND adults. Sigh, but I'm grateful for what was there, to be sure.

Oddly, the candy pickings were there for me at our walmart. I didn't buy anything,but there was an entire aisle dedicated to easter candy/candy. sounds like a really nice wknd, atty.

She said before, if you all remember, that she expected/suspected that it is COVID since she was in close contact with The Boy for that weekend at a time when he would be contagious. And the The Boy's GF has it too.

The good news is that she's vaccinated IIRC, and I think boosted too, although I'm unsure of that one. Her immune system should be primed to some degree to fight this bug. Yay.

Hopefully it's the less-severe BA.2 variant or whatever the heck it is called. Less hospitalizations with that one, not that I think this will get that far for her, not saying she has to worry about that. I mean, there's donkeys to feed and birds/cats to care for, so providence should shine upon her!

It's just that little pinhole camera up in the corner of the exam
room. For every flinch she dishes out, it's a little more in her
paycheck. Like a commission of sorts.

Payback for my yakky-sass of a few weeks back.
