    Annnnnnnnd... have it!

The amount of TECH is simply overwhelming. It's
a wonder I even made it home in 1 piece without
    SOMETHING not being set properly.

Buttons, switches, knobs, levers (which move
every which way and can be twisted and turned).
Huge (to me) center display, instrument panel,
stuff projected onto the windshield. Cameras and
radar front / back / both sides.

I imagine once I get things set to my own preference,
most stuff will never be touched again.

Need to spend a lot of time going through the
"quick reference guide" (58 pages) step by step.
eg: how in the hell to even turn on headlights...
but I believe they do their own thing without
    human intervention. ::shrug::

Guess that's where we have evolved.

MOST important: how to use the vintage 2005 iPod.
Until then, it's Channel 54 on SXM.

    Ugh.

I have not set it up yet, but there's an "APP"
(forcing me into using a "smart"phone) that
    will:

Find the car if it gets lost in a parking lot
(problem there being I leave the phone IN
THE CAR when shopping... I am NOT married
to it) (and if I cannot remember where I
parked the car, then there are other more
    pressing problems)

Know when regular maintenance is required
(for warranty purposes) AND... Schedule it
FOR me based on preferred days, hours and
service location. The only thing it cannot
tell me is who is the hottest technician and if
he's straight, gay, or just "curious". beard?
    Moustache? Hairy chest? Other stats?

Know about inspection and registration dates
    based on state

Set the phone on fire if somebody is messing
    with the car outside

And a number of other conveniences :glare:

How did we EVER survive before all this crap???
And, to me, it IS all crap.

If the clock blinks for the next 6 months or more (like on your Blue-Ray or gasp VCR), you should sell it. Just say'n.

I adjusted a wristwatch to match the car time.
Just a couple of minutes off.

I did get the iPod to kind of work. It just does
not remember where it left off. I now have to
find out what Android users do emulate iPod.
I'm sure there is a solution out there.

Until then, "Studio 54" on SXM... EXACTLY LIKE
what I did in 2008 when I bought the Charger.
How I was tuned on to Goldfrapp ...

STILL have 5 of the songs on my "Listen To" list.

    So, yeah.

(I'm like a dog to get you.)

a big hello to all, especially bear's new car! (can it read?)
There must be "text to speech" capability in there
some place. Pretty sure I'd have to take a picture
of the words first, though... and my phone camera
    is really bad.

Another interesting piece of trivia... I have no clue
how long the salesPERSON has been on the job (I
can say at least 2 years, Husbear bought from that
salesPERSON in March '20)... and he/she said I was
their very first cash transaction. Is that possible?

OK... time to consider dinner... life goes on as usual.

Why are you hanging on to a bunch of antique cars?

the boy and i are partial to the 69 chevy nova, the 78 corvette, and the 54 ford pick-up. those are the ones staying and should also increase in value.

Well that’s not what I’d call a bunch. Also make an appointment.
