Green, according to the filter media. Which clogs
up in 2 or 3 days.
Grey-ish was always normal and after at least a
month in service.
The only thing left is the gravel. And that's a total
strip-down job and makes me just clutch the chair
here with sphincter muscles. Unless one has an
aquarium, one cannot understand the chore. Tib
would know.
I've had this thing since 1990 and can remember 3...
maybe 4... other times. And one of those times is
when the old
tank sprung a leak. Almost 30 gallons,
overnight, onto the floor. It's really really quiet. But
right there to say
!!!GOOD MORNING!!! before you've
even had coffee. Who NEEDS that?! Sleep with one
eye open now.
Suck it up, big boy... right?
