Took the new guy out for a 100-mile open-road cruise.
There are a number of features than can only be tested
or learned when not in normal stop-and-go traffic.
I did learn he can get up to 90 with NO problem at all.
I didn't press any further.
The "adaptive cruise control" works flawlessly. Too bad
the frequency of use will be so intermittent.
Even though it SAYS hands may be removed from the
wheel while in "adaptive cruise control", that's a big
NO to me. Nope. Uh-uh. Why would I need to take
hands off the wheel, anyway?
He rides not nearly as smooth as the Charger. I
expected the opposite.

Going to the optician "store" attached to optometrist
office tomorrow to pre-order new lenses. They expect
people to shop while their pupils are dilated to the size
of satellite dishes. No... I will do that part when I am
able to see properly.
Then, after next week's visit, just have the new script
applied to the pre-order If I said "I'll come back",
months would pass.
I hope I get to see that optician with "personal flair"
(@AttyPops , March-ish 2019, this thread) and see if
she's toned it down a bit. My guess would be "no".
But hey... if you are that age and can pull off dressing
like that... go for it!
what a mistake! had to go back to town and decided after 2 yrs or so i might like a burger. bacon mac double has doubled in price but no other improvements
