    It turned out WONDERFULLY!!! :)

I had some herb-infused olive oil, so used that.

The "all kinds of seasonings" included garlic powder, fresh
ground black pepper, a couple tablespoons of bread crumbs,
chili, cayenne and 3 pressed garlic cloves. Yeah... heavy on
    the garlic.

I think the thing was it was all SEALED and no juices escaped.

Papa John's is getting all kinds of nasty press for their
"Pizza Bowl"s. (Are they national? Regional?)

But you know what?... I'd try each of the 3 varieties
as a topping for pasta. Spaghetti... shapes... as a
lasagna filling. The simple thought of pizza sauce as
a substitute for traditional "spaghetti sauce" does not
sound at all nasty to me. Actually, it sounds YUMMY!!!

Matter of fact, any of the three flavors could be made
    at home much cheaper.

I think they have something, despite the bad press.

Pizza sauce, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, cheese
(parmesan, not mozz) ... then add whatever else...
mushrooms, sausage chunks... and just use it as a sauce.
    Sounds good to me!!! Anchoivies!

Pasta or crust?... either is a starch. So?...

I've been inspired! Such a simple substitution. There
is NOTHING wrong with it, from my standpoint.

    Make it at home!

Ditch the "Ragu" and use pizza sauce. Pepperoni,
    onions, peppers... cheese... over pasta!

Any combination. Forget crust and just use pasta!
    That's a thought, Casserole?
