Squirrels chewing landline wires up on the pole
cutting off landline service.
Apparently, there is no technology or hardware
available on the face of the planet which will keep
squirrels (or other pole-dwelling) wildlife OUT of
the junction box. It does not exist. The squirrels
have won.

Now have to call utility company because of no
bill for August. THIRD time this year for THAT
problem.
Last 2 times they said I reported "bad readings",
so they wait until the next month to get a "good"
one. Ummmm.... no. I put the readings into a
personal worksheet FIRST before submitting.
I now double and TRIPLE check my typing.
Even though I give THEM the readings, they still
send a human to get the numbers. SO... and
hear me out... their claim of "bad readings" is a
gigantic leachfield of cess. MAYBE the "bad
readings" are due to THEIR human.
I am so very tired of dealing with OTHERS'
incompetence and inadequacies.

to use the cell. The cell number is NOT
associated with my utility account. So,
they are running some kind of FBI or CIA
identity check before they will even speak
with me.
Is there any question why some people
simply SNAP???
I gave them the account number and I'm
ONLY asking - ASKING!!! - for a bill to be
sent. Yeah... I'm trying to pull a fast one
on them.
I'm sensing a fracture in my sanity.

I'm considering hanging up and dialing their "report a gas
leak" extension. I may get to actually speak with a "human"
(or a reasonable facsimile).

Railroad could go on strike Friday at 12. Its not the money. Engineers are being overworked. If it happens it will have a effect on supply chain. President can't stop it though congress could if both D's & R 's work together which IMO is most unlikely in the short term.Oh, Lord... what's going to happen now?
