Well, GF's mammogram came back clean a year after the lumpectomy. The oncologist's PA says she can consider herself cancer free.
She's paid a huge price, though, with neurological damage and on-going memory/health problems.

Chemo works, but it can really suck. Especially for some. I don't know what really happened, and we may never know. But she's alive and getting stronger I think every day.
We went and got a celebratory ice cream cone after the mammogram today. Later, she couldn't remember the mammogram visit, but still remembered the ice cream. lol.
It's been a long year, but I wanted to share the good news.

    I’m happy to hear she’s cancer free Atty but saddened to hear about the other health affects :(

    Excellent news Atty!!! Except for the other stuff that is. Hopefully over time those will go away. :)
