Well, the bad news is I didn't win the Mega Million jackpot.
But I spent a total of 8 bucks on tickets for it, and won 10 bucks, netting 2 bucks win. lol. 2 bucks is better than no bucks.
Someone in FL won the largest jackpot in history, with 1.58 billion bucks.

Good morning snails. :)

    Good morning Atty :)
Lols yeah I guess a 2 dollar win is better than a total loss ;)

I wouldn’t have any idea what to do with a billion dollars.

Things have been busy here with cleaning, out of town visitors, parties, dinners, more cleaning, and more visitors. Summertime fun!
It's been so hot I find myself hibernating during the day and slipping out in evening for a swim. I watch the back outdoor cats follow the shade throughout the day while the garage cats slip in and lie close to the door just of of suns reach, trying to catch the smallest of breeze.
I have lots of little projects that need doing here, starting with recovering my dining room chairs. I've covered benches before but not fancy cutouts and piping.

    Hi Terri

Plans for the day: Go to Pinch A Penny and get pool water tested. I don't trust the dip strips that I have to give a good reading. Huge amounts of rain a few weeks ago got the salt level off kilter and I have not been able to get it back right to where it will work so I've had to use Cl to keep the pool from turning green. That's a pita so I've got to get this straightened out.

Pools are a lot of work. I used to rent a house that had one, and I was responsible for maintaining it. Rain isn't near as damaging as having a car drive through the fence and land in the pool. I had that happen. The house was on a curve near a busy street and people would take the curve too fast and usually land in the front yard. The guy who landed in the pool was going really fast. He took off running, but the police caught him and arrested him, not for speeding or crashing into the pool, but he had brass knuckles on him. Fortunately, the car was owned by his father and was insured. I got the pool professionally drained and filled and chemicals balanced, and the section of fence he crashed through needed replacing anyway.
