I guess the biggest factor is all the lawsuits, and "hand over your insurance to me, and I'll take care of it all" contractors. I suppose some LAWS and REGULATION would help in that regard...
Exactly! Seems like anybody who had the slightest roof damage was turning over their claim to nefarious contractors who would threaten to sue the insurance company. It being cheaper to pay for a new roof, the insurance co would pay out, whether the claim was valid or not.
My next door neighbor was complaining about the lack of insurance choices and when I mentioned about all the roofs and other schemes that insurance was having to cover she said, "Isn't that awful?" I replied, "You didn't think so when you did it so you could have a new roof for free." She didn't have anything else to say about that.

I survived. I didn't like it one bit but I survived. I guess I would still choose the nuclear injection test over walking, but stomach felt in a knot, breathing raced, and heart raced. I kept deeply inhaling and exhaling and it only lasted about 4-5 minutes. Whole thing took about two hours. Won't know results (unless they are disastrous) until end of Nov. when I go back to heart doc. Glad that is over with!

I’m happy it’s over for you and hope the report is good.

I had a flat tire this morning.
First time I have ever had one.
Picked up a dang nail somewhere :(
    You’re kidding!? First flat ever?!

Burger. GF had chicken nuggets and fries. They forgot to put the sweet-and-source sauce in the bag. Grrr.
So she says to me "Go get some". Grrr. Ha! I whipped up a batch from stuff she had around, including juice from canned mixed fruit. Was pretty good too. She liked it.

    Goodnight snails. Sleep well all.

You know, Agatha Christie once said "The first time you do a thing is always exciting."
So apparently you should be excited.
    Turn that :( into
