Sure is! Arctic blast heading for FL/TX soon and lasting thru the week. Picture big-cold-arrow of air flowing from the North Pole down to Terri....
High of 10 degrees here on Tuesday, and that's with the Great Lakes buffering the cold air entering MI. Not exactly unheard of for MI, but it going all the way down to FL and TX will be rarer.

The ENTIRE Mississippi river had ice on it, either solid or flowing down it....ice flowed thru NOLA and into the gulf of Mexico.

’Chicken stir fry for supper plus I deboned and have the lamb simmering in bbq sauce. That’s for tomorrow.
Yeah, it’s heavier now and 15 degrees already. Overnight low was supposed to be 14 but I have the feeling it’ll be lower.

I survived the weekend. Hoping drifting isn't too bad tonight so I can get to work tomorrow. Power is still on, thank God. So over all it was a GOOD weekend in a challenging situation. Things worked out, in no small part to the kindness of a stranger. That's what makes this life livable, goodness to others, and hard work by all to overcome adversity.
Goodnight snails. Wishing you all good fortune too. Plan ahead as much as possible.
