We’re going to have pork tenderloin slices with corn on the cob and broccoli salad … if DH ever does get the mailbox replaced. He’s been down there for about an hour so I’m guessing he’s having difficulty.
I was fortunate in the installation of my mailbox. Since it was placed on the section of a Farm to Market (FM) road that runs through town and TxDOT maintains all state FM routes, TxDOT had to install the mailbox post. If you have the mailbox with you at the time the post is installed, they'll mount it on the post for you. Having had to install mailboxes on my own in the past, that was a good thing. It obviously isn't pretty but practical, with a big amber reflector on it, but it's not in front of my house, so I don't care.
