Looks like I didn’t tell anyone good night last night! I was tired and achy.

‘Fran my day yesterday went quite well other than not being used to being on my feet that long anymore. I’m off today and working tomorrow.

Memory foam inserts worked for me. Gel soles not so much. That, and a callus pad under one big toe.
Shoes right now are Keen brand, with wide toe area. (I frequently think of Fran when I mention those, ha!) Hoka is reputed to work well too.
Oh, and if you get rubbing, I use hiker socks with Merino wool purchased on Amazon (Amazon.com : merino wool socks the Time May Tell ones, 3 pair for 13.48), to reduce blisters and corns and add padding all around. Mole skin works for that too.
