Hello, people. I was thinking about Dale and how she was doing? I see we haven't heard from her since early yesterday. Let's hope it's just power.
Hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'll check back tomorrow morning to see if she's checked in. Have a good night.

    morning, people.

I'm not sure what county Dale's in but here's a list of the latest power outages in Arkansas at the moment. I got this from an AI search.

As of the most recent updates available to me, power outage information for Arkansas on April 7, 2025, is not fully detailed in real-time beyond what was reported slightly earlier. However, based on data from sources like poweroutage.us and posts on X around early April 2025, I can provide a snapshot of areas that were recently affected. Note that the situation may have changed since these reports, and I recommend checking live outage maps like those from Entergy Arkansas (www.entergy.com) or poweroutage.us for the latest information.
On April 6, 2025, at 8:17 PM ET (5:17 PM PDT), Arkansas had approximately 37,308 customers without power out of 1,646,798 tracked, according to poweroutage.us. Earlier posts on X from April 4 and 5, 2025, highlighted specific counties with significant outages due to storms:
    • Pulaski County: Reported over 61,000 outages on April 5, with earlier counts at 15,238 and 36,000, indicating a heavily impacted area including Little Rock.
    • Saline County: Noted up to 48,000 outages on April 5, with 14,775 earlier that day, affecting areas like Benton.
    • Hot Spring County: Around 4,419 outages reported on April 5.
    • Clark County: Approximately 3,429 outages on April 5.
    • Craighead County: 1,080 outages reported on April 4, impacting areas like Jonesboro.
    • Sharp County: 441 outages on April 4.
    • Arkansas County: 413 outages on April 4.
    • Independence County: 379 outages on April 4.
    • Columbia County: 251 outages on April 4.
    • Phillips County: 140 outages on April 4.
    • Lonoke County: 137 outages on April 4, with 2,247 reported later on April 5.
    • Jefferson County: 105 outages on April 4.
    • White County: 2,133 outages on April 5.
    • Conway County: 1,572 outages on April 5.
These numbers reflect a dynamic situation likely caused by severe weather, with outages peaking at over 121,000 statewide on April 5 according to X posts. By April 6, the total had decreased to 37,308, suggesting restoration efforts were underway, but specific county-level updates for April 7 at 6:28 AM PDT are not available in my data.
For the most current and precise information, utilities like Entergy Arkansas, Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative, or Ozarks Electric Cooperative provide outage maps online. Given it’s early Monday morning, restoration may have progressed further overnight, so real-time resources are your best bet.

Oops! Did I not mention we were leaving town Saturday  I’m terribly sorry I worried you. I couldn’t get online because I couldn’t remember my password for ECF.

We’re home thank goodness! Flooding is terrible all over Arkansas, Pocahontas got it especially bad.
We drove in rain Saturday and Sunday, this morning was absolutely gorgeous but cold, as a matter of fact it was very cold up there in the north
    shock
Thank goodness we both took a jacket. Spent one night in Eureka Springs and one night at Pocahontas where we went to attend a funeral. Didn’t get to do much in Eureka as the weather was miserable, cold and rainy. I’m definitely going to have trouble getting up and out to work tomorrow as I didn’t sleep well at all.

Pretty sure we didn’t lose power as all the clocks are working properly.
