Well, for me (can't speak for classy), it's with butter + salt + pepper. But I usually don't eat it, except for zucchini, which I like stir-fried oriental style. And of course, pumpkin anything with pumpkin-spice.Good morning Atty and snails.

I’m sure that’s good too , I guess I just grew up with squash and onions. Although I do remember my mom making fried squash, that was good too. Oh! And squash patties! Those are wonderful but I can eat them like candy and rarely think to make them that way.
Must be a Southern thing. Squash patties....<google fingers off>
